Green Initiatives
Since inception, we at W Services Group have taken the environment into account
in every decision made. We believe that green initiatives start with the inception
of ones organization, and can only grow and flourish with that strong foundation
in place. We have implemented the following initiatives to drive our leadership
in environmental awareness for the facilities maintenance industry. We realize that
green initiatives are only as good as you implement, so any decision to execute
is well structured and planned to ensure success. We will continue to search for
new ways to improve our surroundings and will keep everyone well informed about
our progress.
Paperless Business Model: In a world of depleting resources, we are working
toward a paperless business model, in which business is completely performed electronically
to avoid unnecessary paper waste.
Project Management Structure: Our project management structure helps reduce
energy usage through improved communication and minimized product waste due to poorly
performed services.
Green Products: We believe that green products are the future, and we are
driving toward utilizing only such products for our services provided. This will
help to reduce the amount of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) released into the
air for both maintenance employees and building occupants to breathe. We want to
create not only a cleaner work environment but a healthier one too.
Leed Certification: We are taking the necessary steps to become a Leed Green
Associate and provide the services needed to help our customers locations reach
Leed Certification accreditation. This is a joint effort with our customers, and
we look forward to collaborating together in helping our earth become a better place
for the future.
